This vid is TVXQ latest single entitled Before U Go. I daresay that this is TVXQ's best MV ever. What I really love most about this MV is definitely the dramatic value. And even though this MV is short you can judge how well Changmin and Yunho's acting skill.

Other than that, this single really tests both of their vocal dexterity! I really adore Changmin vocal gymnastic and it doesn't sound showy or 'superfluous'.

I am so glad I had the chance to watch an exciting Japanese movie, K-20: A Fiend (Kaijin) with 20 Faces.

At the first glance, this movie reminds me of Hayao Miyazaki's production. A pseudo-European setting and penchant for flying....

The protagonist of this movie is Heikichi Endo played by the Japanese movie powerhouse Takeshi Kaneshiro. The setting of this movie is also interesting as it depicts the whole new Japan, where the fictional capitol, Teito, is still practicing Meiji Era's feudalism. Then enters a phantom known as K20 who terrorizes the city as he steals from the rich and gives to the poor. He does this as to rebel against the system.

Next, enters Heikichi Endo, an acrobat who works in the circus company. One thing led to another, he was framed as the menacing K20 and he was caught by the famous detective Akechi Kogoro. Then in order to clear his name and to prove is innocence, he has to give his all to fight the real K20. Along way, he met Duchess Yoko Hashiba who is engaged to Akechi.

The main focus of this movie is the conflicts that Heikichi has to endure...

What a way to usher in new year (a lil' bit too late for that,tho!)... TVXQ is finally back after being hiatus for 2 years and 3 months. Our HoMin is back with a new hot single and also the title their new album WHY (Keep Your Head Down)...

I must say, as a fan, this single has proven that Yunho and Changmin are 'strong' enough to carry the name TVXQ and to show the fans and non-fans alike that they can survive with or without the other 3 former members. Kudos to them!

Check out the vid and check out their awesome choreography! And for the live show, witness their vocal prowess. They certainly are THE KING OF THE EAST!

I gotta admit it I was quite nervous when I watched their live performance initially. This is because it has been ages these two haven't made any appearance on stage doing any lives. However, my worries subsided when they successfully delivered the live!

Majo No Jouken (lit: The Witch's Condition but also known as The Innocent Witch) was aired in 1999. It was a long time ago. I was still a uni student back then. But one thing for sure, when I watched the series, it doesn't seem like it was produce befor year 200he style (hair, make-up and attire) is simply timeless. Well, that is my first impression on this drama.

This drama is starred by Takizawa Hideaki (Tackey and Tsubasa) and Matsushima Nanako. Actually, this drama is about a forbidden love between a 17-year-old student and his 26-year-old teacher. Initially, I felt rather disgusted with the concept of teacher having sordid affair with a student. However, as the drama progresses, I believe their relationship is way far from being sordid or lewd. In fact, their love is pure and innocent. I really love the portrayal of Kurosawa Hikaru (Takizawa) in this drama. He is mature enough to shoulder the emotion and suffering in order to ensure the survival of their love. And I really love the part when Hirose Michi (Matsushima) confessed her feeling during the school assembly because she believed she was not in the wrong. When she was arrested by the police and interrogated she said "What's so wrong with me? I am just a woman who fall in love with a 17-year-old boy?".

At the beginning it sounded rather ridiculous and disgusting. However, come to think of it, the situation would be acknowledged if the boy is 20 and the woman is 29. The issue here is just a matter of age. Well, maybe it is considered as abnormal because Hikaru was still a student and Michi is a teacher…

The verdict is, I love this drama. I just can't get over it! It's so emotional, poignant as well as romantic. In fact, I think this is one of the best jdorama I have ever watched. I really love the conflict and how the conflict is resolved. Not forgetting, the theme song of this drama is the best ever!

When I bought this DVD two years ago, I complete have forgotten about it. I stashed it somewhere hidden. Of sight, out of mind…. Last month while I was looking for something, I accidentally stumble upon this DVD. And I watched…

Well, as you can see the title of this K-movie is APRIL SNOW (2005). It was supposed to be dragging and melodramatic. I was right, about the melodramatic part. However, the plot-line was superb. The story is so poignant and romantic. Hmm… I daresay that this is one of the best melodramatic movies ever! The theme of this movie is rather controversial. It's about adultery. However, the theme is dealt in a way that it is not viewed as lewd or offensive.

April Snow is starred by Bae Yong Joon as In-su and Son Ye Jin as Seo-young … both of them are Korean drama power house. Especially Bae Yong Joon (Winter Sonata). They are extremely talented actors.

In this movie, In-su's wife and Seo-young's husband were involved in reckless affair. Their affair was made known when both of them were involved in an accident and both of them were in coma. This is when In-su and Seo-young were to meet. After an extensive investigation, the police declared that the couple were lovers and they were involved in drunk-drive accident. Apparently, Seo-young husband was found guilty. Upon knowing the truth both In-su and Seo-young were devastated.

Sharing the hard emotional times together, In-su and Seo-young start to become closer. They meet often while visiting the hospital, in places like the intensive care unit's waiting room and the cafeteria, and they slowly discover how much they have in common. Eventually, as fate would have it, they fall for each other. They begin to take more and more comfort in been together. But they are torn between feelings of guilt and happiness about having found each other. So, what will happen in the end?

Well, I will reveal no spoiler. But one thing for sure, this movie is so memorable and heartending. I would love to rate this movie 8/10. It's a must watch!

In 2006, when a good friend of mine suggested me a Japanese song entitled Doushite Kimi Wo Suki Ni Natte Shimattandarou (Why Did I End Up Falling In Love With You) by Tohoshinki a.k.a DBSK, I was rather skeptical. Not another boy band, please!!! I kept the song for quite sometime and after few months after that I tried to listen to it.... And oh boy! Was I smitten! And up till now, the song is still in my mp3's most-played playlist.

In my humble opinion, these guys are great. I was attracted to them like a moth to a flame. But not because of their good looks but because how great they sound and perform. Especially, their harmony (I am a sucker when it comes to harmony singing and stuff). Initially, I heard about Tohoshinki but I never thought they can really sing. But after listeing to the song, I started googling for their videos and concert performances on Youtube. And whadya know! I realized that, these guys are even better performing live. Seriously, I really love their vocal harmony. Almost impeccable!

The quintet consists of Jaejoong (lead vocal), Yunho a.k.a U-Know (baritone), Changmin a.k.a Changminnie (tenor), Junsu a.k.a Xiah (baritenor) and Yoochun a.k.a Mickey (bass-baritone).

Heck! These guys are good! Check the vid!

Even though Jaejoong's pronunciations are total blunder, I really enjoy his vocal. So soulful and classy. And again, their harmony is still almost flawless! So, it is true then, (according to what I read) acapella is certainly DBSK's forte.

Too bad, though.... these guys are on the verge of breaking up because of some legal dispute between the three of them (Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun) and their managing company SME. Anyway, only time will tell...

A tricky, tricky question. Well, as you can see in my profile, I have been blogging since October 2007. And this is NOT my first blog. The first blog is actually ANIME-Holic Anonymous. I love animes and I decided to use blog as my platform to express my viewpoints. It's not a popular blog, though. It helps me to express my inner-most thoughts about things that I like. Then, my second blog was Residual Self-Image. I decided to close that page because.... Well, I got so distracted. However, after a while, I got bored and then I opened the current one. At the beginning this blog was supposed to be my platform to ink my ideas about the world and stuffs then I decided to focus on JK entertainment because I need a ground to stand on. So, here I am. Though, this might seem immature and baseless, this is what I like and this is the manifestation of my virtual self! It is not my true self and don't judge me based on this blog.

I bought this DVD last year and this was my third time watching it! It's just so funny I can't stop laughing and giggling when I watched it this morning. THE ART OF SEDUCTION (2005) is the best k-movie I have ever watched (after My Tutor Friend). It's funny and witty as well as romantic.

This movie is starred by Son Ye-jin (Han Ji-won) and Son Il-gook (Seo Min-jun)

Synopsis

Min-Jun (SONG Il-Kook) and Ji-Won (SON Ye-Jin) are so-called the first-rate "players" who are dating gurus with 100% success rates in any dating pursuits. Following her usual systematic dating rules, Ji-Won fakes a schematic car accident to capture Min-Jun's attention and successfully approaches him.

However, her smooth-sailing dating life finally encounters turbulence. Why in the world is this guy not succumbing to her alluring charm? Ironically enough, Min-Jun is also overwhelmed by the understanding that he has met his match. However, like the veteran players that they are, these two shouldn't Min-Jun (SONG Il-Kook) and Ji-Won (SON Ye-Jin) are so-called the first-rate "players" who are dating gurus with 100% success rates in any dating pursuits. The Verdict

I believe this movie is the one to watch if you are in the mood for romantic comedy. The portrayal of both male and female protagonists are very impressive and natural. The combination makes them hilarious and cute. I also love the ending because.... well, let's jJust leave it that way.

It's a definitely a chick flick, my kinda flick! So, before I end this, is seduction and an ART or a SCIENCE? You decide.

If you are BLEACH fan, it is impossible for you not to know a Japanese band called AQUA TIMEZ. This band is definitely not new. In fact it is one of the giants in the world of Jpop (or Jrock). This band has been around since 2003 and it is actually a quintet: Futoshi (vocal and composer), OKP Star a.k.a Tomohisa (bassist), Daisuke (guitarist and programmer) Tasshi (drummer) and not forgetting the only female in the band, Mayuko (keyboardist).

I was introduced to this band in year 2007 when they sang for Bleach's OP theme 'Alones'. Initially, when I first heard Futashi's voice I was not really blown away. However, as I listened to his voice and the songs more and more, it somehow grew on me. Then, I started to like the band and started googling for their songs. I noticed that most of their songs are used in many animes, dramas as well as movies. That shows that their music and songs are versatile as well as 'ear-friendly'. But the most prominent trait about this band is their memorable music. For the fast numbers, they are energetic and intense and for the slow ones they are melodious and relaxing.

A friend of mine recommended me this vid, knowing that I love Xiah Junsu's voice. It's actually a vid of piano battle between Xiah (DBSK) and TaeYang (Big Bang). This vid was actually taken during a song festival in Seoul. The idea is to put 2 stars together and let them 'fight' each other in their best elements. Check this vid!

In my humble opinion, I believe Xiah is more vocally blessed than TaeYang. Nevertheless, I believe TaeYang is smarter when it comes to song choice. It really highlights his vocal gymnastic. His falsetto is almost impeccable. And the song choice also helps him to showcase his dexterity in playing the piano. The song title is Don't Wanna Try by Frankie J. It is played without any accompaniment of any musical instruments. Moreover, his pronunciation is clear and he sings like a native speaker of English.

Xiah on the other hand, has a wonderful vocal. And that's it. I have to admit it, Xiah is skillful in manipulating the piano however, he should play it acoustically. Furthermore, his English pronunciation is a tad distracting. And the song choice (My Everything by 98 Degree) doesn't really showcase his vocal nuances. Anyway, I still feel Xiah is a better singer compared to TaeYang.

Have you ever heard of an old jdorama entitled MOERO ATTACK! I still remember when this was first aired. I was 13 going 14 at that time and the year was 1989. It was a huge hit at that time. I can't really recall the heroine's name but one thing for sure, she has a cool technique of spiking called 'Pukulan Somersault Berpusing'! Whoaaa... masa tu semua orang nak main volleyball and ikat rambut mcm dia...

This jodarama was produced from year 1979 to 1980. OMG! Masa tu aku baru 2 taun. Tapi ditayangkan kat M'sia from year 1988 to 1989. The jdorama was popular because it was produced around the time for Olympic Moscow 1980 and everybody was so psyched. It's about bunch of girls wearing uber-tight shorts playing volleyball... Hmmm, funny tho, because that's all I could remember....

Bila aku tgk MV ni, tersengih memanjang. Sampai sakit muka. The singer is Gummy (hmmm... aneh namanye) and the song is entitled As a Man. The song is nice but what I want to highlight is the MV itself.

Kim Hyun Joong stars in it! OMG, OMG, OMG!!! He is so gorgeous in this clip. It's like watching a mini-drama. So sweet. Take a peek!

In my humble opinion, other than the song I think this is an excellent MV. It only lasts less than 6 minutes but the plot and storyline are well-laid. Tak payah buat movie sampai sejam. And then, eventho the MV is very short, the characteristic of each protagonist is very well portrayed. Their expressions are vivid hence they manage to invoke our emotions. Especially, when the two characters are communicating. We don't need to hear their conversations since their expressions are vivid enough to convey their feelings. I really enjoy the end of this MV (naturally) because the smile of the male protagonist shows us the resolution.

I am not sure who is the director for this MV but I believe he/she has done a tremendous job. This is definitely an MV to vote for. Kudos to him/her!

My first kmovie ever: My Tutor Friend

Whoaa... that's my G-spot!!

When a friend recommended me a Korean movie MY TUTOR FRIEND (2003) to watch, I was rather skeptical. Aku tak minat Korean drama or movie sebab aku rasa language dia amat distracting.... However, because of extreme boredom (masa tu aku jadik warden, duk sorang-sorang) aku pon tengokla movie ni...

Whaddya know! I loved it! Terjatuh chenta la plak. It's so funny and romantic as well as funny as hell! I really love the portrayal of the female protagonist Kim Ha Neul as Choi Su Wan. She is not pretty or a kawaii type. Dia biasa-biasa aje. And the best of all, her character is smart and down to earth. Takla typical cerita cinta yg selalunye heroine dia drop dead gorgeous.

But, the male protagonist is a HUNKilicious (nosebleed sudaaa...)! Kwon Sang Woo stars as Kim Ji Hoon (a typical name!).

And I really love his character dlm movie ni... Gangster yang bodoh. 3 kali ulang sekolah menengah. How stupid can a man be! He is so funny dalam movie ni. But the best part dlm movie ni, is the constant bickering that both Su Wan and Ji Hoon have. And apparently (dah bole agak daaa) it leads them to love.... sigh..

Aku rasa, citer ni typical citer shoujo animelaa... Watak perempuan camtu namanye tsundere. Ganas tapi jadi lemah lembut bila ada lelaki yg suka kat dia.

Apa2 hal pon, this is the movie memang best... Kalu malas nak beli carik je kat SilentRegrets. Aku yakin ada.... trylaaa...

BAMBINO! This is one of my favorite jdorama. Matsumoto Jun a.k.a Matsujun starred in it. Citer ni dikeluarkan pada tahun 2007... agak recent jugaklaaa... Best citer ni sebab dia menceritakan tentang usaha protagonist, Ban Shogo, untuk menjadi chef pasta yg terbaek. Serious best! But, if you are expecting a romantic jdorama, this is definitely not for you.

Geek yang kawaii...

I have to admit it, initially, the very reason why I wanted to watch this dorama is because of Matsujun. Tapi, lama-lama hooked kat plot dia. Interesting! BTW, dia punya OP pun best gak.. Tajuknya We can Make It and it is sung by Arashi (Matsujun is one of the members)...

I really love this number (Begin). The best part is when Mickey Yoochun sings while playing the piano. Their vocals and harmony are impeccable . Xiah Junsu and Jaejoong have proven themselves as capable and talented singers. I got goosebumps when Jaejoong sings the solo. He has such a beautiful falsetto...

And, as much as I love U-Know, I believe Xiah a.k.a Junsu's performance is the creme de la creme... The choreograph was amazing and most important of all, he is sizzling hawt! Check this vid!

Pernah dengar tajuk jdorama GOOD LUCK? Wuiiihhh... this is when I fell in love with Takuya Kimura-kun. OMG, OMG, OMG... aku rasa dialah hero jdorama yang paling hawt di dunia ni. Paling suka masa dia berjalan dengan uniform pilot...

Plot dia pon BEST! The best jdorama that I have ever watched. Besides, the female protagonist pon cantik, Kou Shibasaki.

Aku dah tengok Hana Yori Dango and Boys Over Flowers... Hmmmm... mana best? Well, both have their pluses and minuses... Aku suka characterisation dlm HYD. Semua pandai berlakon and semua pandai bermain dgn emosi... Especially Makino Tsukushi (the female protagonist). She is independence, resilient and mature.

I hate Geum Jan Di because she is too clingy, wimpy and pathetic. Sikit sikit nangis... Tsumaranai, ne! And she make those funny ugly faces! Hellooo, good actor doesn't need all those paralinguistic things...

Kau ingat cute ke buat muka camtu?!

But,when it comes to the second male lead...

I prefer Hanazawa Rui. Because he is so independent, masculine, caring, protective and best of all, he plays violin FOR REAL!! By the way, Shun Oguri is a good actor and he is so talented. I really like the portrayal of Hanazawa Rui in this drama. However, dia tak la sehensem Ji Hoo sunbae... sigh. Motainai, ne!

Aku bukan tak suka Yun Ji Hoo sunbae. He is definitely facially blessed! Dengan kata lain, hensem gila! OMG! But too bad, he is not a really good actor. Yun Ji Hoo, is brotherly, caring and sypathetic however, he doesn't play violin... Main pon mcm kaku aje... Senang cakap, dia ensem tapi tak pandai blakon... sigh...

W00t! Kim Hyun Joong yg sangat hawt!

However, when it comes to plot and storyline, I really love BOF compared to HYD. In BOF the conflicts are more intense and well-developed. What do you think??

Hmm.. this year's Raya won't be as grandeur as last year's. Everything is paid using my salary (last year ada bonus...). Kawan aku kije kat KL nun dapat 10 bulan bonus! Apekes tu?!!! Kitorang kije gomen, dapat bonus sebulan pun bagi dua (bulan 10 and bulan 12). Anak jiran aku dapat bonus 6 bulan...

Apa2 hal pun, aku bersyukur... At least ada gaji gak. Bole gak belikan baju raya mak bapak aku. Belikan mak aku kasut and handbag murah-murah. Ada gak hikmahnye disebalik takde bonus ni. Dapat berjimat cermat dan bersederhana, kan???

2 hari yang lepas, I went to visit a friend yang sakit. She's been away for more than a month. Kesian... Kidney failure. Both of the kidneys rosak. Dia kene buat dialisis twice a week for the rest of her life... Sebak betul bila kau tengok keadaan Kak Liza skang. Bertebuk sana sini.

Kak Liza cakap, dia terpaksa bergantung hidup ngan dialisi ni sampai bila2, or else bole bawak maut. Anak2 dia semua dieksport ke kampung. Yg sekolah pun, terpaksa pindah sekolah ke kampung. Kesian dia... dah sebulan tak jumpa anak2.

Every week dialisi dia memakan kos sebanyak RM 600... times 4 weeks... Mak aihh! Ubat2 lagi... treatment lagi... Gaji Rm4000 abeh kat situ aje...

So, pengalaman aku melawat Kak Liza mengajar aku untuk lebih menjaga kesihatan. Organ tak bole carik kat pasar or Jusco... Kalu ada donor pon, blom tentu match ngan kita. Aku doakan Kak Liza terus bersemangat dalam menjalani kehidupan seharian. Hopefully, next week boleh tengok dia kat sekolah...

Pagi ni, aku ada discussion dengan Vie kat faculty. One thing led to another, terkeluarla cerita pasal students sekolah kitorang meniru during SPM trial. Ada yg siap guna henfon kat toilet tu... Terkejut musang aku! Antara yg terdakwa are ketua pengawas ngan top student sekolah kitorang!!!! Lagi la aku terkejut gajah!

Sigh... i was so speechless and dumbfounded! Nak salahkan siapa kalu kes camni terjadik? Alamakkkk.... sedehlaa. Ni la sekolah aku.. tak abih2 nak push budak2 to get more and more A's... Frankly speaking, I will not blame these kids. It sickens me to the core knowing that they are mentally and emotionally pushed to the extent they couldn't take it anymore... Weekdays dorang tuition, weekends pun tuition. They are not allowed to be kids anymore... sigh.

I think parents and teachers (termasukla aku) should give these kids some space to breathe... Poor thing! I am so damn glad that my childhood was normal and fun. My parents were strict but they never forced me beyond my ability....

I think it's about time parents (especially parents) and teachers sould realise that life is not about how many A's a student / child should snag. It's more than that. It's about being a good and fully-functional person that able to contribute to your society... Kalu jadik tukang sapu pun ok, asalkan baik. Am i right, peeps?!

Bila baca title post ni, mesti semua confused, kan? Well, 3 hari lepas, lappy aku buat hal. I thought, it was a normal routine - kene reformat... I was dead wrong! Hardisk kaput! So, kene bayorla extra... Bye, bye RM250!

That's not the worst! Yang paling buat aku bengkek is the thought that all my documents, pictures and vids sama-sama kaput! Aisehhhh!!!!! Lupa plak nak back-up kat external... Not just that, semua installed programmes and games pun sama-sama kaput! Arghhh!.... Now, the rice has become poridge...

But the best part, my lappy skang dah VIRGIN semula... Oh yesss! I love customizing my lappy! At least, there is a blessing in disguise...

So, aku nak re-install ape yang patut. Sambil-sambil tu, nak download Nur Kasih episode 13 kat youtube... Heheheh... malam tadi pegi terawikh, tak sempat tgk... Hensemnyeeee Adam!

One of my classmates has quit.... She is pregnant and there has been some complications with her pregnancy. So the hubby wants her to quit.

Aku tak kisah sangat. Tapi, yang buat aku panic is, she is one of out team members and she is supposed to handle the designing of our web page. Since she is good with Dreamweaver. Tapi skang tinggal aku and Vie je...

So, I have to korek balik knowledge yang aku ada pasal Dreamweaver. The problem is, now dah Dreamweaver CS4... When I learned it, it was still under Macromedia... Haishhhh!!!! PENINGGGGGG!

Till now, dah 3 botol hand sanitizer abes... Ya Allah, lindungilah kami satu sekolah dari wabak H1N1 ni. Amin!

I just knew this morning the our neighbour school has to be closed for one week! It seems that there are 3 teachers suspected to be infected with H1N1! And to add, there are more than 100 hostel students are having fever!

This afternoon, around 12 p.m., i went to my former student's wedding. She's getting married today. I went alone since she did not invite any of her former teachers except for me.

As i arrived at the hall, i saw many people. I tried to scan any familiar faces... hoping to find any of my former students. To no avail, i knew no one. I stood in front of the hall for 5 mins and no one ushered me in....

I peered into the hall. There were round tables. If i were to go in, it's either i have to sit alone at one of the BIG tables or i have to sit together with bunch of strangers.... I chose none.

So i went back to my car and waited for another 15 mins. After a while i went back home.

I thought to my self.. I drove all the way to JB from Pontian, for THIS?!

I felt kinda hurt and disappointed....

Yesterday, during class we were required to introduce ourselves to everybody. Then my turn came. Naturally, i introduced my name and my current occupation. I told everybody and my lecturer that i am teaching English.

Then, as i finished off, my lecturer commented that as a TESLIAN, i shouldn't opt for multimedia as my masters degree. He said that my future will be much brighter if i take TESL instead because I can be a lecturer.

I told him, i want to broaden my horizons. I doesn't mean that if i take multimedia i'll be ditching English in totality. In fact, i believe, i'll be a better teacher because i can incorporate multimedia in my teaching in class. As becoming a lecturer, if that is the case, then i guess i'll pass...

Anyway, i'm doing this because i want to redeem myself. I want to tell the world i still can progress.

Hmm... i believe as a lecturer he should encourage me more rather than dampen my spirit.

I know he is seriously GOOD in English compared to his other counterparts, but then again, i cannot simply focus on him. I have to consider the other students' proficiency.

It's ok. Next time i will give him something extra hard just to keep him busy! Eksyen sungguh!!!!!

Angel on earth...

I am coming down with flu today. But i'm at school. I wish i'm at home right now!

While reading today's paper, i came across this newspaper article. I was rather emotional and as i read the article my tears welled-up.

A furniture shop in Butterworth was on fire. One of the workers heard mewings of kittens in the premise. It turned out that there were 4 kittens on an oil drum. The plastic resin melt on their fur. The worker saved the kittens and brought them to the nearest vet. Their bodies were scalded and the vet managed to save them.

If i met the worker, i would love to thank him... He is certainly an earthbound angel...

Thank God nothing really bad happened to the kitten...

Met several former students. Some of them are doing degree and some of them are taking masters. Met this one former student. WTF! She's not even 24 and now doing her Ph.D! OMG...

It hit me... we are no longer students-teacher... We are equals. I am the ~~mahasitua~~, the one that i used to make fun when i was in uni long time ago... huaaaa..

THE SIMPSONS effect

My students always ask me, how do I learn to speak English or rather, how do i acquire the language?

Frankly speaking, i was rather perplexed by the question too. This is considering that both of my parents do not speak English and none of my immediate family members do too.

However, i then realize that when i was young, i LOVE watching tv. I mean, i watch tv almost religiously when i was a kid.

My favorite programmes were mostly american sitcoms as well as cartoons too.

Other than my teachers i would love to express my gratitude to THE SIMPSONS! I have been watching The Simpsons ever since i was 14. In fact i even have the DVDs from season 1 to season 7. Indeed, they have helped me tremendously!

The Simpsons have taught me a lot! They have taught me so many phrases that i never could acquire in a normal classroom. Such as, "Hey man, don't have cow!", or "What gives?!" or even "Eat my short!". Apparently these could never be taught by my normal English teachers...

Other than that, i acquire most of my vocabs and expressions from this programmes too. Such as "Shut you word-hole!", or "Put a sock in it!". There are also vocabs that you can never acquire from anywhere else such as *'embiggen', 'cromulent', 'upity-box', 'car hole' and the list goes on. I know that these will never be taught by my prim and proper teachers and certainly not from the surrounding. I know they sound harsh but still they can only be learned naturally.

See? The Simpsons have taught me a lot! And with this, i would like to give salute to the THE SIMPSONS!

Tomorrow is Friday and it marks the end of this week.

So far everything went well... Whew!.. It looks like i was being obsessed with the whole thing...

Anyway, what daunts me is this coming MONDAY!

In retrospect, i never had issue with public speaking before. I was a library teacher from year 2001 till 2007. Every year i had to give talk to new students about the library...EVERY YEAR since year 2001.

Then, other than library, i used to do give a talk on TEKNIK MENJAWAB SOALAN (English 1119/2&2) for 150++ students. I did this more than twice if i am not mistaken...

But why do i always feel afraid when delivering a speech during assembly?... After much reflection i realised that it is NOT the students, it’s my COLLEAGUES!

I am so nervous because my ~~judgmental~~ colleagues are going to be there during the assembly... ARGHH!!!!

They always give me the impression that i am being judged! I hate that feeling....
Anyway, i am glad that i finally figure it out... The best i can do for the coming Monday is to visualize all of them naked.... buck nekkid!

Well... looks like, tomorrow i'll start working. Gosh! Somehow i fell kinda nervous and agitated. I really can't tell why... It seems that there are couples of butterflies fluttering around -wildly- in my stomach.

Actually, this is a normal feeling i get after a long break. Whenever i'm starting my new day at school i will always feel nervous. It's the same feeling that you get when you are about to deliver a speech on a stage in front of a tough audience.

Well, i guess, public speaking is never my niche area. Truthfully, i REALLY hate being in front of people... but when you get the hang of it, everything will be easy breezy. The problem is to get it starts... Once everything is warmed-up, i'll be as good as new.

It's been 3 weeks since i left school (including the Perak thingy) so, tomorrow i'll be extra edgy! LOL!

I hope tomorrow will be a better day...

I really dunno how to start this entry...

School holidays are about to end... So, far nothing productive has come out from it. Thanx to animes that i have downloaded prior the break...

Yup.. i'm not ashamed to admit that i am an anime addict. But, i am not a freak. I'm just a person who needs to express her passion... I really dunno why...

Frankly speaking, sometimes (i said, 'sometimes' and NOT all the time...) i felt rather disgusted with myself. And at times, i do feel ashamed. I have tried time and time again to quit the habit. But whenever i tried , the urge came back and pulled me back in!

Well, what are you gonna do! At the end of the day, everything goes back to square one. I once promised to myself that when i celebrated my 32th birthday, i'm gonna quit... but, yeah right, like that gonna happen!

Anime characters are so KAWAII! How can one resist that?!

A friend of mine from Kota Tinggi, let's call her MZ, is about to transfer to my school. Funny huh? Thanks to my nosy behavior, I began to poke my nose where it should not be. I told a friend, Vie, that i had a hunch she is going to pursue her PhD and Vie thought I was out of my mind.

And whaddaya know... I was so right.

MZ had already taken up her masters degree and she graduated 2 years ago. And the MAIN reason why she is coming to my school is because is is gonna do her PhD this July! Waaaaa.... I'm so envy. Here i am just about to take my masters and SHE is going to do her PhD. FYI, UTM and my school is just a 15 mins drive, so it would be easy for her...

A month from now, I'll be a student in UTM. Somehow, i felt kinda reluctant. I'm afraid of what i have to go through as a student. I dunno whether i still have the ability to study after almost 10 years working... Last time i checked i am not a hardworking type and a month from now i really have to work my butt off!

Gosh! I am so scared... Seriously!

While i was grading the papers, i asked the debaters to discuss the motion. To make things easier (much easier) i have subbed my duty as a coach to my third whip. Nigel... tolong handle the discussion, ye. Anyway, tomorrow is Teacher's Day, so i consider this as my early present... hehehe....

Three colleagues were quarrellings. Even worst they were quarrellings at my work station! There were tears, screaming and blood all over (yup... i'm exaggerating!) It had something to do with the distribution of exam papers... Physics paper 1, to be exact.

So, from this we can conclude that Physics can cause relationship to deteriorate. So, don't learn Physics!

Just got my offer letter from UTM.
Sarjana Pendidikan Teknologi Dalam Pendidikan.

Not a glamorous course, tho....

No more TESL. No more semantics, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics and the whole enchilada! Had enough!

This is like an out-of-body experience. My hands were actually trembling when opening the envelope....

Starting this 2nd July 2009 (insyaallah). And then I am a student all over again. But the difference this time, i don't have to ride a bus or any other public transports (hehehe.... no more bas kunyit and bas mini). UTM is 30 mins drive from my home...

Woot! yeapp... I'm ecstatic!

So much I hate to admit it but let the truth be told.... I vowed to quit and yet I start all over again. Yup... i'm talking about blogging. Actually, i really need an outlet so, here we go again.

Hmm.. i really can't decide! I am a fickle-minded person and i don't really care....

Got so bummed lately! Sometimes, i feel like quiting my job and start with something new. But what! I am not a multi-talented person... I know nothing except what i am doing now... Eventho, this is not really my dream vocation, a girl gotta live, u know!

Still waiting for my masters offer... If that doesn't work... better luck next time.
